Desiderata

Walk calm and cool through noise and haste & bear the peace in mind; the silence can hold.
Sand so far without giving up yourself in friendly relationship with all humans. Expresses your truth calmly & clearly and listens to others, also the stupid & ignorant ones; also they have
their story. Avoid noisy & aggressive humans, they are an agony for the
spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you could become bitter & are
found trivial to yourself; because it will give ever someone, more largely or
smaller than you.
Be happy to your own achievements like also your
plans. Further stick interested to your own career, however unassuming. It
is a genuine possession in the changing luck of the times. In your business
affairs exercise proper care; because the world is full fraud. But this is not
to make you blind against equally existing honesty. Many humans struggle
for great ideals; and everywhere is the life of full heroism.
Be yourself,first of all don’t simulate affection. Nor be cynical which the love concerns;
because also in the face of the dryness and disappointment it is
nevertheless eternal like the grass.
Bear friendly-calm the advice conclusion of the years, give up the matters of the youth with grace. Build up the strength of the spirit, so that it protects you in suddenly breaking
misfortune. But do not worry yourself with fancies. Many fears are
consequence of exhaustion & loneliness. With a salutary measure of selfdiscipline
be good to yourself.
You are a child of the universe, not less than the trees & the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether it is conscious to you now or not: Undoubtedly the universe unfolds as intended.
Therefore live in peace with God, which for a conception you ever have
from him and which your efforts & longings are. In the noisy confusion of
the life receive to you the peace with your soul.
Despite all its appearance, the grind & the broken dreams is nevertheless beautiful this
world. Be careful. Aspire to be lucky.
